Years of composite manufacturing experience in a variety of processing techniques. Composites manufacturing experience includes:

Burnham Composites has established relationships with local companies with special processing, machining, and finishing capabilities, in addition to design and testing services, which are managed in support of our customer's requirements.

Typical materials include carbon (graphite), Kevlar™, and fiberglass reinforcements. Resin systems include epoxy, phenolic, polyester, urethane and silicone. Nomex and aluminum honeycomb as well as foam cores are utilized in sandwich structures.

Our 16,000 square foot facility was built to accommodate the composite manufacturing process. It is equipped with:
• 2000 square foot (level 400,000) clean room
• 2 Computer controlled ovens
 - Largest is 20 ft x 15 ft x 6 ft
• Compression Mold Presses; 150 ton, 200 ton, 400 ton. Up to 4 ft x 10 ft platens
• Multi-platen press; 5 ft x 12 ft platens, 750 ton
• Single platen press; 5 ft x 16 ft platens, 500 ton
• 4000 square foot assembly area
